French business publication Maddyness interviewed Rami Cassis, focussing on his portfolio; his plans for his most recent acquisition, Hervia; and his unique approach to private equity.

Cassis spoke about his recent move into luxury fashion with his acquisition of fashion e-retailer Hervia. He says he is looking to diversify heavily into the luxury fashion market over the next 12 months and that “Hervia is only the start.”

On the future, Cassis talks about the growing trend of increased customer spending on health, wellness, and quality of life, saying this will also open up great opportunities in the pharmaceuticals, skincare, and tech industries, as well as the luxury fashion sector.

Cassis reveals he is planning to triple the size of Hervia by building partnerships with emerging designers, moving into childrenswear, and strengthening the brand’s online platform.
