Rami Cassis recently spoke with Asia Asset Management about private equity’s image and reputation problem.

He pointed out that private equity sometimes comes off as “bullish, secretive, and opportunistic”. In the article, he argued that if the sector doesn’t deal with this reputation problem urgently, it could risk facing a flood of new rules and regulations.

The article also mentioned Rami’s push for bringing in more professionals from different industries into leadership positions in private equity. Specifically, he argues that more executives from the worlds of marketing, HR, and operations would help bring different perspectives and skill sets into private equity.
